I think I've lost myself...
I've fallen head over heals for this guy and things were going great
till he had to move. I'm okay with him moving because it was better for
his family. So a few months go on with just talking on the phone and
instant messaging, then he has a change of heart and breaks up with me
due to wanting more of a physical relationship. Well we still talk and
I guess he's kind of moved on and I haven't! So we were talking about
the future and if it's possible to get back together. He said that if
he was to get into this college which is 2 hours away from mine, he'll
date me again. Now he's a really nice guy. He's smart, friendly, and we
have everything in common.
Is is right to go along with this? Because I can't stop thinking about
him. I can't help that when I'm in love, I'm commited to the end...
Help please! I think I've lost myself.
That's until the end of the school year. It's hard to be commited to
someone that is unsure about things, trust me, I know first hand. And,
as much as it's hard to push your feelings to the side, you might have
to try it. Dating other people is always an okay thing to do. This guy
sounds great, and obviously worth the wait, but I'm sure, for now
[seeing as we're all young and experimenting still] try dating other
people, or even considering it. If this isn't a good enough answer,
come back and tell me your ideas on this advice so far, and we'll work
it from there.
