Annie on my Mind is the true definition of pure and innocent love. Set in New York City, Liza and Annie meet and soon become best friends. Slowly but surely they find that their feelings for one another are mutual and more than the “normal” friendship. With their eyes set on each other, they seem to be happy as clams. However, when word spreads about Liza being a lesbian at school, people’s views of her soon turn sour. Read along as they overcome other people’s opinions and find true love from within. This cute and easy read book is a recommendation. The writing however, seems to be rushed and repetitive. But if you’re looking for a quick easy read that will make your smile then this is the book for you!
