i am so confused..no actually i feel stuck.... and i was wondering if any one else went thru the same thing. like your one gender but you feel like your sopposed to be the opposite gender or you want to be the other gender. and it feels like your stuck.

It's called being transgender. There are actually quite a few transgender people on here.

Its hard to be confused and it's especially hard if you feel like you've no where to go in order to create a self identity and understand yourself. There are places where you can read and self discover. I can try and help you by pointing you in the right direction. Gender is a complicated issue. There is biological gender, commonly referred to as sex, and then a social definition of gender, commonly referred to as gender. When you say you are confused about your gender are you confused about your sex or your gender or both?

Transgender individuals feel like their sex is not in line with their gender

Genderqueer individuals feel like they don't fit into the gender binary.

In either case it is possible to exist somewhere outside or in between the binary identities of male or female. In general people tend to shun the in between existence, but it is as legitimate an identity as are the binary identities.

I am one of those many transgender people on here. I am female-to-male which means I have a female body but I feel like a male more than a female.
