As a gay Christian, I can echo Jake's comment. Mr. Mohler's comment is out of place and misrepresents the huge body of diversity and opinion in the 'Christian scene' (for lack of better terms).
It's a shame that the most vocal are the fundamentalists; they hardly represent the inquisitive nature of respected theologists throughout history.

I hate things like this, it's prejudice and wrong. I find it rather ironic that alhtough Jesus supposedly taught "Love your neighbour", there are Christians who take this as "Love your neighour.... unless they're gay, in which case tell them they're going to hell" Plus you can't reverse someones sexual orientation - it isn't something you can choose and trying to make someone be something they're not is just going to cause them a lot of pain.

Here's food for thought. Christians aren't bigoted because they follow the bible. I often find that people use Christianity a proxy for their own intolerance. Poor Jesus is getting all the heat when in fact people are just using him to spread their own intolerance. If they were really following the bible word-for-word they would look back at the passage "Judge not, lest ye be judged." -Peter 6:37 and realize that we are no different than they are.
