Reversal Of Gay Orientation(?) 2007/03/15 19:20 Karma: 0
http://www.gay.com/news/article.html?date=2007/03/15/1&navpath=/channels/news/

Quote: "Such logic dismayed Jennifer Chrisler of Family Pride, a group that supports gay and lesbian families.

"What bothers me is the hypocrisy," she said. "In one breath, they say the sanctity of an unborn life is unconditional, and in the next breath, it's OK to perform medical treatments on them because of their own moral convictions, not because there's anything wrong with the child."

Amazinggggggggggggggggg

-"would be biblically justified."-

Says it all, because a book cannot justify or decide ANYTHING. What if I were to read Lord of the Rings and say that murder and looting was justified through that book? :-[

I think the Bible is MOST LIKELY fiction, and MOST LIKELY much younger than people think. It was just a way to earn money.

K, here's my little beef with the Bible and whatnot....

Why on earth do people need to do God's will if he's all-powerful?

... COULDN'T HE DO IT HIMSELF??!?!

Why are we in the mix?

Why would he allow other religions? Why wouldn't he prove himself? If we weren't perfect already, wouldn't he have changed it to be so?

See, this is why I'm not really Christian.... o.O

Not that I have a problem with Christians, I know a number of very nice Christians who I have no problems with, it's just some of the things make zero sense to me...

This, my friends, is hypocrisy and ingnorance at their finest . This type of hypocrisy and ingnorance are one of several reasons why I left Christianity. People need to learn not to depend on the Bible. In my opinion, if you are a Christian, don't follow the Bible: follow Jesus!!! If Christians would do that, then we wouldn't have problems like this. (Didn't mean to offend any Christians ).

"I realize this sounds very offensive to homosexuals, but it's the only way a Christian can look at it," Mohler said.

This quote bugs me. Being agnostic/atheist (not sure) I have no problem worrying about "Christians". They are all hypocritical anyways. This article is a prime example. What bugs me about this quote is that there are many gay christians. I am SURE that the gay christians don't look at this situation the same way Mohler does. It most certainly is offensive to homosexuals, especially the ones who believe in God. This man irks me.
