Angel Inside


She could see
The hate in their eyes
The rumors of old, still alive
In her thoughts while she cries
Awake at night
She looks for hope
But all is lost
Nothing left to find
Because everything leads back to you

She's trying so hard to make it
To make it all work out
To make it all make sense
But nothing ever changes
Due to their expense

What she needs is to pass them bye
Transform into an angel and spread her wings
Never to return again.

Counselor's Curse

They say they know
How you feel
But they never been
Where you are today

They don't see your tears
They don't hear you cry
They don't understand what it's like
To live when you only want to die

They pretend to care
But they just want stuff from you
They ask for advice
Never realizing
That you're the one
Who needs the help

Woe to you, giver of advice
To those who don't listen
To your problems
And act as if their problems are above you

He gives advice
But noone thanks him
He gives thm hope
Still nothing in return
He shows them the way
And they get lost

He gives them peace
Instead, they push it away
He gives them love
And they show him hate
He tells them about
His own problems

But noone listens

Life and Death

Life is something most take for granted
We waste our life on risks and chances
We lose trust in people
Ending up confused, alone
We forgot about the little thing
All the joy it once did bring
And soon enough the angel sings
We become empty
Finally realizing
Life was the same as death

You
Of all people
Showed me you cared
You took my hand
When my face hit the sand
You showed me a world
That I have never seen before
I only live because of you
The love you gave
Was too good to be true
But then,
As I looked once more
I saw you with someone else
I thought what we had was special
In more ways than one
But you left me there
As soon as you were done.
