Although I would love to see the play... I liked the movie.
I'm sure the play is better... even if the only reason is because it is the whole "play" experience, but the movie is pretty good.
I really like the soundtrack. (Which explains why I own it.)

The play by far. The movie is brilliant though. I finally got the chance to see the play last year, it's a whole different atmosphere than the film. The outcome of both the movie and the play will leave you in complete elevation.
