I was kinda in shock when I found out that our school infact did have a gay straight alliance but there were no members. So I asked a ton of my friends to come along and others to the first offical meeting this year. My sister who is straight was vice prez even though my mom is a HUGE homophob and her best friend who is a lesbian was prez when they were in school. But since they graduated about three years ago there hasn't been anyone to run the club. SO ANYWAY, we all went to the meeting to talk about getting things up and running but we needed officers, well I was elected vice prez cool I know. My mom was a little pissed to find out that I was VP but whatever. I'm glad we are offically running as of today because they were going to just take the GSA out of our school. Yep so one more GSA in a homophob filled town!!
