I am a very out and very proud person, I don't care what other people think and I let people know when I disagree with them, which tends to get me into trouble sometimes, I am a member of the MVHS GSA. I have been through some tough stuff, and have learned from it. I can be very loud. When it comes to dating, I can sometimes move a little quickly, but all you have to do is kick me in the ass and I'll clear my head. My last girlfriend, was amazing and I love her to death, even though it didn't work out.Even though I am proud, outspoken, and dont really care what people say about me, I can be pretty sensitive. I am a very good listener, I don't talk, just listen, and people tell me that when I do say something, it's the right thing. I love people!!!
But some people just really suck.
The past sixth months have been the hardest I've ever had to live through so far, It got to a point when I just wanted to crawl into a whole and never move again.
Imagine sitting at home, sick for the day when your phone rings, it's your best friend, she says something has happened and she needs to talk to me.
You call her mom and as gently as she can she tells you " Well Cherie, Someone went into some of the girls bathrooms and wrote "All Fags Must Die Starting With..." and your name was on it. Imagine your heart dropping, your throat automatically dry.
That's how it felt, and it continued for the next few days, walking the hallways always looking over my shoulder, not sure if in the next 4 minutes someone was gonna kill me just because I'm gay. Oh Yeah, it sucks.
But I'm getting over it.
I'm workin' my way through.
